Bodyflight
Experience Bedfordshire Explorer Jordan Semmens has been on a mission to Bodyflight in Clapham where she experienced the new attraction called Bodyflight Vertigo.
Prior to her visit Jordan tried to get as much information as she could about her chosen attraction, she did this by visiting http://www.bodyflight.co.uk/ where she found the website fairly easy to use. Jordan says "The website was very helpful and quite easy to use, although I found it very difficult to find the prices. But other than that the pictures were very eye catching and it looks like a really fun attraction to visit!"
Jordan hadn't been to Bodyflight before and found it easy to find, she found the staff very friendly and helpful. Jordan didn't use the catering facilities at the venue, but she did buy a drink and she said "the menu looked really good".
Here's Jordan's review of her visit to Bodyflight.
"When I went to Bodyflight I participated in their newest attraction ‘Bodyflight Vertigo' which is a freefall from an outside platform which is one of the tallest fan descender jumps in the UK.
I was really nervous when we were called through for a briefing and when I put on the safety kit. It was then a very long climb up the ladders to the top of the 120ft tower. I had to use hooks which cling on to the safety wire to move about. When I got to the top and looked at all the views from the top it looked great, and I felt great!
I was first to jump out of my group and I was still a bit nervous because my legs were shaking. But I got to the edge of the platform and looked down and thought ‘I am going to do this' and off I jumped. I put my arms out and pretended I was flying! I landed at the bottom and I was so proud of myself for jumping I wanted another go!
It was a great experience and I would love to go again. I would recommend this to children and adults; it would also be great for a birthday party.
